T Levels at NKC Tonbridge College are two-year, Level 3 qualifications designed for students aged 16–19. Equivalent to three A Levels, they combine classroom learning with practical industry experience to prepare you for skilled employment, an apprenticeship, or higher education.
Every T Level includes a substantial industry placement, giving you the opportunity to apply your learning in a real workplace. This hands-on experience helps you build the technical skills, confidence, and professional behaviours employers are looking for.

Every T Level student must complete an industry placement that lasts a minimum of 315 hours (750 for Early Years). This is to provide young people the invaluable opportunity to put their learning, knowledge and skills into practice in a real workplace environment. Industry placements also give employers a unique opportunity to develop new talent and help young people become work ready.
